Born in Ca Na, a small fishing village in Vietnam, later seeking new horizons, chef Rang moved to Canada, where he found not only a second home but also a passion for cooking. After many years of working in the fine dining industry he became a well-known, and respected chef around the world, and along the way helping, and mentoring a new generation of chefs. Among his protégés is Matty Matheson. Driven by a desire to give back to the community Chef Rang returned to Vietnam to introduce poutine, a Canadian classic cherished by its people.
